The third film in the series by Pooja Bhatt after PAAP & HOLIDAY. Powerful, thought stimulating & perfect, these are the three words I will choose to describe the movie. I think this one of the best movie from the camp of Bhatts and the best out of the three(paap, holiday & dhokha) The movie stars Zaid [Muzamil Ibrahim] & the beautiful Sara [Tulip Joshi]. After the recent voilence in Hyderabad, a movie like this is more topical. The movie is about a cop and his wife who is a suicide bomber. The best part of the film is that it never takes a side and does not blame any community or religion. The film is not anti any religion. What it picturises is why people turn into jehadis and blames those who spread terrorism in the name of religion. Zaid is a police officer in Mumbai, after the deadly bomb blast in the New Century Club he works in the hospital for the patients, the victims and what he saws was shocking to him. He found the dead body of his wife Sara. It was like the entire world has come to an end for him. The police investigation describes that the way her body was burnt was like that of a suicide bomber. He was terrified because of he being betrayed by the one he loved the most. What will it be like when you realize that the one whom you share your life with and claim to know very well has a secret identity? Dhokha is not made for entertainment but for enlightenment. A work done very maturely and is praiseworthy. Dont miss it
